Any recommendation for New photoshop learner

I was told that by adjusting the level I can push up (more 3D) the portrait photo b4 I print. I’m totally new to photoshop & I’m interested to learn more. Appreciate you guys can advise me where should I start from. Many Thanks

one way is to read from the help options found in photoshop itself. another is to explore the various tools. i learnt it that way.

There are basic usage of CS3 and further in the book, Scott Kelby gives very good tips on various kinds of corrections, with step by step pictures and examples
