After having my pre-wedding photography taken in Shenzhen, I'm pretty motivated to do some myself. Maybe we can do a small meetup, maybe 6-8 person group.

Will need someone to volunteer a lady friend/wife to model (I doubt I can volunteer my wife, after all it's just after our wedding), or a couple will also be fine. We'll need 2 persons to volunteer to be driver (also need cars).

Most likely, I'll be getting a portable strobe (if don't have we'll use flash) and a basic wedding gown (to fit: Bust 85-90cm Waist 65-70cm Length 145-150cm allowance of 6-8cm). If there's a guy, then can use my suits if he's a S size.

MUA will depend if the "model" is good with make-up, if not may need to get one. We'll share the cost of petrol and MUA (if any). Or I don't mind doing it with my 1/2 baked-skill:bsmilie:

Theme will be Taiwan style wedding photography. Meaning those fake moments with FEEL (well most of the time) and high contrast/saturation colors. No strobist type this time round. But I may want to organise anothers like Europe style wedding photography if this one goes well^^

Time will be 3rd or last week of May, on a weekend. This one not 100% confirm, but I'd been wanting to do it for weeks. Also only open to Pentax bros, sorry to other bros using other brand who are interested:sweat:

Bridal photography is somewhat different from fashion photography. So is the post process. Bridal is more to tell people how much the couple is in love, fashion is more to wow and attract ppl. At least that's how I feel:sweat:

But then, one of my pre-wedding photos photographer is someone more into fashion/commercial type of photography. He even shared with us one of his work with a topless young lady and some newspaper as background:bsmilie: The bridal studio boss asked him for opinion on the renovation of indoor settings, he told the boss just give him a wall with newspaper:sweat:

edit: sure you are welcome to join if you are interested^^

Personally, i love portraiture.

Count me in! Or am I already too late? I can probably volunteer to be driver, provided the car is available that day. Can't confirm until much closer to the actual date.

No prob, will try to get this organised. Just thought it'll be fun to do something diff with a group. But the respond was much better than I thought, will still need find model.^^; Think the last studio another bro suggested didn't happen due to no model^^;

can i tag along? even though i know nuts about wedding photography :x
Don't worry, think most ppl aren't. Most only get chance to do AD, rarely get chance to do pre-wedding. I fell Pentax has greater potential with pre-wedding than AD^^;

Pre-wedding is not only about portrait, wides also important. As I'd said the theme will be pre-wedding and not fashion. Think test primes should go for those fashion shoots with XMM;)

Ya got quite a bit of respond which was unexpected.

Count me in, but i will reconfirm as the day comes nearer. (Starting a new job so do not know what the schedule is like as yet)
No worry, there'll be another thread to take slots once I get everything more or less settled.
