Errr, why don't you just weigh the batteries yourself?

decided to do you a favour and weighed it out in my lab
with a balance accurate to 100 micro (miu) grams

1 AA energizer = 24.3439g

NiMH, NiCD, Energizer Lithium, Energizer Alkaline, Energizer e2, Panasonic Oxyride etc etc will have different weight. If you want the lightest, go for the more expensive Energizer Lithium. I think it should weigh less than half the Energizer Alkaline from just comparing them in the shop by hand.

Thanks .. weird that all Batts have such big diff .. check out on some sites .. AA batts can weight from 14g to avg 25g till even 50 g
