Any Newbie Level Tripod to Recommend?

MTL bro, get a C or M series from Benro. Should last you long enough. Btw, which ball head are you using now?

I am using a Manfrotto setup heavy enough for whacking people ;p

KJ-01? That is a good ball head and opens the option of getting L-brackets But your bank account is already burning...
