The silver manfrotto I think cost ard 60 while the black one cost around 80 or so. With 100 you will definitely get one that meet your need. Just look for Chris or Steven and they will be able to give you recommendation.

Can I recommend the FalconEye monopod? I have the 50 bucks version, and the quality is TOP NOTCH, and I dare say that the quality is equal of that of Manfrotto, at the fraction of the price. The seller is very friendly, and you can easily arrange with him to view before you decide. You can see the $100 and $50 monopods available from him.
