Any lumixers interested in Artistic Nude?

Hello fellow lumixers...

Since there had not been a real event for the Lumixers for a long time, I thought of holding a simple Lumixers only Artistic Nude Shots (Figure study).

Only Lumixers, FZ series... upto 6 people... I thought of demonstrating my style of shooting Artistic Nudes followed by your own practical. No, it is NOT a workshop, but more of a share experience session. We (the 6 of you... ha ha ha) will share the cost.

I will work out the studio, model, MUA, date, timing and do the pricing when we have enough people. Shooting will be in groups... No flashes, only studio lights (tungsten).

No, I'm not trying to make any money, just sharing of experience.

Since my PM is always full, please write down a list here together with your contact email address. I will update you via email.

Remember, only FZ series lumixers for now. And for now, only 21yrs and above (until I get a clearance if between 18 and 20 is ok or not.

What I will cover:

1. Use of backdrops
2. Use of tungsten lights
3. Poses (differentiate between artistic and erotic/vulgar/porno... and so on)
4. Communications with models
5. Exposures
6. Post production (Simple PS)

Equipments you will need:

1. Your camera (ofcourse... FZ Series)
2. Tripod (Preferred... but can always share)

I have done studio shoots with my FZ10 but because of its limitations in aperture range, only use a dSLR for artistic nude photo shoots. Then again, I have always used strobes with modelling lights and not continuous tungstens.
It would be most interesting to learn how to do it with a FZ10.

LX1 cannot?

To tell you the truth, I do not know much about LX 1, I know that the FX series may not have enough manual or priority control to control the lighting. I assume LX1 should be fine, let me check the LX1 specs first.

Will it be extremely costly??? roughly how much is the cost? just a rough estimation will do. FZ5 should be ok hor..

Hi those who had signed up... Don't worry too much about the budget... I forsee a range of 50-80 dollars for a 3 hours session which includes everything. The actual cost will be divided equally among all.

Hi guys, please do add your names on the reserve list (list can go on) cause depending on the time and date, some of the above may not be able to make it and I will give priority to the names on the list from top down.

As I had received quite a few more enquiries if I will have more than one session, maybe I will but let the first one go first... priority only to Lumix Users first as its suppose to be a fun outing for us. Nothing formal, just another get together over just another shoot.
