My HR colleagues came out laughing after an interview with a potential candidate.

Here is the why:

(Serious environment)

Interviewer : What is your marital status?

Candidate : I'm married but me and my husband have not had our customary wedding yet but we were sodomonised early this year.

Interviewer : err... u mean "solemnised"..??

Candidate : yes.

Interviewer
: Excused me for a few mins. I need to get something.

(My colleague came out ofthe interview room and tried very hard to keep her laughter quiet.)

Interviewed at a dotcom where the interviewer was such a show-off and seemed to think how the company was so great it would conquer the world, and tried to put me down. Right now the dotcom is almost dead and still falling.

Wow! I didn't know interviews can last up to 4 hours.

Has anyone tried a phone interview on a Sunday afternoon? At the end of the call, the interviewer asked for the pay and the minute I gave a figure, he said we will let u know. One month later, I was asked if I would still be interested. Can do part time first to try me out? Does this sound queer?

I once interviewed a person for an electrical engineer's position. He's got very impressive resume but could not apply Ohm's law to figure out the resistance required in a LED drive circuit.:dunno:

while waiting for the applicant to come into the interview room, i looked through her application form. after she sat down, i stood up and motion for my two colleagues to follow me out of the room.

i showed them her application form.

in the application form for SEX, she wrote NOT YET!

we took quite sometime to regain our composure before continuing with the interview. :bsmilie:
