rEveRie said:hi how long have u started photography?
and for outdoor photography, u have to at least know what you want to shoot.
e.g.
architecture?
candids?
people?
scenery?
sunsets or sunrise?
animals? macros?
even portraits
i guess, this would be a very generic theme... for a starter, specific theme would be quite hard i guess. why not go for these generic theme and learn to compose well, grasping good exposures first?
cheers and happy shooting!

I assume you have yr Basic already. May I know what type of outdoor photography are you interested in? Nature & Landscape? Street Journalism? Outdoor Portraitures? Architectural?
Well basically you can take pictures anywhere once you're outside with yr camera, except restricted areas. Anyway here are some of my inputs:
1. Pulau Ubin
2. Changi Boardwalk
3. MacRitchie Reservoir Nature Walk
4. Marina City Park
5. Singapore Botanical Garden
6. Chinese Garden
7. Punggol Jetty
8. Pierce Resevoir
9. Seletar Reservoir
10. Singapore Zoological Garden
11. Fort Canning Park
12. Labrador Park
13. Sentosa
14. Mount Faber
15. Kusu Island
16. Old Changi Hospital
17. Little India
18. Chinatown
19. The Esplanade
20. Orchard Road
21. Kranji War Memorial Site
22. Arab Street
23. Bencoolen Street
24. CHJIMES
25. Armenian Church
26. Singapore Art Museum
27. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
28. Boat Quay
29. Clarke Quay
30. Alexander Hospital Butterfly Trail
31. Kent Ridge Park
32. HSBC Treetop

That's all! Have fun and do remember to post yr pictures here for us to view and/or comment which is one of the ways to learn photography from the experienced shooters. Cheers mate!
