Hi! Just like to find out currently how are free wi-fi hotspots around?
And also is the Singapore airport offer free wi-fi?
How long does the Mcdonald's offer this free hotspot service?
Thanks!

The MacD hotspots seems going to stay around for quite a long time, since some MacD restaurants seem to using WiFi technology to take orders.

The thing is that they don't have power plugs at all, so you can only last as long as your battery. In this case, those with Centrino lappies have the slight advantage.

those with Mac portables probably can last the longest :bsmilie:

Anyway Mac Cafes, which is basically the same as Macs (well management wise) have special powerpoints that are labelled just for pple to use their laptops. At least the one at Jurong Point has. If you sit there, you are free to plug in that special powerpoint. Other than that, any public powerpoints are essentially off limits officially (doesn't mean you can't secretly plug in though..hehe)

Unfortunately airport and suntec are not free and controlled by starhub and its associates.
