I would love to get an 80-200mm f2.8 or a 50-500mm, but the last thing I need is a millstone round the neck! ;)
hehe, these two lenses are not LONG and HEAVY enough. I was talking about 400/f2.8 above...;p

Seem no way for gals to carry those big guns:dunno:

yeah man, that time when i was at bangkok with bluestike, i was so fustrated carrying the big gun around, so heavy and weather was so hot.

Wish we could know more about George Eastman - whether
he had any women photographers providing support into his
passion without complaining about him carrying his heavy equipment including his darkroom for each and every of his location shoot.

The history of American wet-plate photography:-

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/eastman/sfeature/wetplate.html

will give us an idea of how easy it is today just to carry a small
35mm camera with a couple of long lenses compared to what
George had to carry. His determination to discover and to be
good at it makes the differences. We should be rugged and
tough enough to challenge the traditional masters and innovators of their passion and craftmanship.

Chappies there are plenty round my field. Well, not that many, but a few anyway.

Well I chose not to have super long prime/telephoto lens is because of its massive weight and its pretty troublesome to bring it arnd during travel. 70-200 L f4 is just all right for me :)
