Hi all,

Any Dreamweaver expert out there?? I need to find out how to hotspot a link to bring up default email programme.

As any Dreamweaver user would know that the easiest way to create a website is to use photoshop to make a picture of the final look and using hotspot function to cut up the pic for linkage to other webpage. However, hotspotting can only link to other website but I can't link it to a email acc. Any advise?? Thanks to all!! ;p

How to do it using hotspotting or can't?
after you create the hotspot, at the link textbox (in properties), type "mailto:someone@email.com"

or alternatively, at the html source, you will see
<area shape="rect" coords=" ......" href="#" >

change the href="#" to href="someone@email.com
