Hi all,

I own a Nikon D80 and when I want to do a shoot with me and my gf, I had to either put on self-timer or use a wireless remote to trigger.

I want to know is there any way for the camera to shoot continuous every 1 or 2 sec so that I can just pose for a few minutes? Or is there any other model of camera that can do that?

Thank you so much for reading.

Kim

Anybody knows where do get an intervalometer?

u probaby can get it at cathay

How does one roughly cost? Do they have for d90?

Thanks for all the quick reply.

I google "intervalometer" and the below site comes out a few times.

The above product cost US$140!! Is there any cheaper version of intervalometer locally?

Thanks again.

You can get interval timer remote in mass sales subforum. They cost around 80-90 dollars.

Here are some after doing a quick search in Mass sales (all singapore sites):

There is even 3rd party battery grips with interval shutter remote feature built in:

Wow... Thanks for the info Daredevil123!! That is wat i need!

I got mine Phottix from the Mass Sales section. You can check it out there.

D300 can do that, setting is in the menu.
the rest I am not sure .

My Nikon P5100 has that function, I've never used it though.

Pentax K7 has this option.
I guess the advice for the intervalometer would be cheaper.

The Minolta 7D dslr has a build in intervalometer, which shoots up to a maximum of 240 shoots!

I just sold my 7D for $400 a few weeks ago. Im sure u can find one easily in the sony buy and sell forum

I have decided to get this.

Hope they have it at the IT SHOW this weekend!

A few things to note:
- The backlight option last for a couple of seconds before switching off automatically by itself. A bit annoying when you are configuring in the dark. At least they could have kept it on when buttons are being pressed.
- Operation manual have to be downloaded from the net. It's not included inside.
- The wire might be a spiral cord instead of straight, so it's not as long as you might think it is.

If you find no issues with the above, the thing works great.
:)

Sound all right to me. Thanks for pointing out to me!

I seriously do not think they will sell that at the IT show. Even if they do, it will probably not be any cheaper. Might as well buy from the website and be done.

Ya. Come to think of it, probably u r right. I will buy it next week, after the IT show :sweatsm:
