Any beaches or alternative destinations from Bangkok?

hi,

me friends and i will be going to bangkok for a week, as most of us have already been there. we are looking to venture out.

are there any beaches in or around bangkok? or would it be more wothwhile gg to chiangmai?

any ideas how i can get to koh samui, krabi or phi phi islands? or any of the nice beaches?

u may like to re-consider going pattaya (Eastern Bus Terminal) or hua hin, popular beaches nearest Bangkok.

Krabi and phiphi is on Thailand west coast, and be better to fly direct there fr. spore

Try Ko Samet. A couple of hours by bus from BKK.
