Hi,

I will like to seek advice on shooting art paintings. I am looking at 2 type of lightings;

1. Shoot with a ambience light with a direct spot light on it. I tried but there is always a strong bright spot in the middle of the painting. Do I need to decrease the intensity of the spot light on the painting? What do I use for the f stop and shuttle speed?

2. Shoot with white light. I have not tried this yet but I guess I will need to ensure that the lights on the painting are even on all areas. So, should I have different light source shining from various angles? What lights should I use?

Thanks guys.....really very, very new on this!!!:dunno: :D
