Elendil said:Just wanted to clarify something here. So if a person has posted a picture on a message board (without copyrighting it), and another person links directly to the photo to show it on another message board, is that considered copyright infringement, and actionable? We can assume that the second person did not link to the photo with commercial intent.
Answers appreciated.

Nightwolf, Did this person download the picture and repost or was it a hotlink?
All I need to do, is disable javascript on the browser and voila, I can right click and save as. There's nothing you can do.nightwolf75 said:hw,
the joker did the usual right-click to save image, and then post it up. sucks.... yeah, mebbe the moderators could consider writing a script or something to prevent this from happening.

too bad dude, gotta live with it when you wanna post it or put it up on the internet. email to the webmaster ask them to remove it, that's the only thing you can do i guess.ParkertR said:sigh... my pix just got leeched
