My wife cooked this madeleines :angel:

They look great! (dunno about taste though) IMO, i feel the background is a little distracting. Maybe the items could've been moved away? If you intended to keep the items there, i'm not exactly sure what you're trying to convey with them. =-)

I feel that you could have zoomed in closer abit so the focus is more on the madeleines. The background can a abit distracting sometimes..

if u observed alots of the food photograhy..
u need to do some food styling ..

i probably would put 1 of them in a desert plate with a desert fork
then the rest of them as BG (oof)
a cup of beverage like coffee + a cup of water in glass
1-2 napkins ?

sacrifice 1 of the madelines. Cut it in half to show the texture inside, add some oil to show it's moiiiiiiist & juuuuuicy. Add some dry ice to simulate steam to give some warmth...

If you could, try to make it half eaten. Some ads do it to great effect.
