Am i allowed to post pictures of children i took?

Hi. i hope some senior members can help me out here. i did some walking ard in the zoo recently and on the street too. i took some picture of children playing in the water fountain and playground. am i allowed to post them online for sharing like flickr or facebook?

What are the legal rights and limits of the photographer?

Hope someone can help me here. Thanks

I've seen lots of postings of cute kids and candids on here. Just do a search.

I may be wrong, but there doesn't seem to be the same issues regarding featuring kids in photographs as some other places.

If you really really want to be sure, why not contact the Admin or Mods?

I remember someone saying (heard he practices law too), you are allowed to use pictures of strangers without their consent, even for commercial purposes, so long as its not offensive. However I think if they caught you snapping the pictures and asking you to delete, or if they find it online and request removal, its most ethical to comply.
