Hey dude just wondering do you usually squat down in the middle of the street and shoot?

i stand either right in the middle or at the side of the street.
hardly squat unless i want to take a pic of a small kid to get to the proper height :)

Oic...I was thinking maybe squatting down would be better to achieve better depth of field. Since I'm quite tall, my camera is usually pointed downwards. Problematic when shooting at f/2.8 or bigger.:dunno:

ya, maybe u can try squatting down to a certain level and try from there.
the f2.8 should give u a good bokeh once u hit it straight on :)

24th is good, how did u do it?

it was taken in the afternoon under bright sunlight.
i waited (patiently) for the subject to come into the light source
and then, snap! the dark areas are shadows cast by the people around it :)

Nice shots. :D

All of the pictures are taken by looking through the viewfinder or are some pictures taken from the hip?

Nice photos! I like the street style here. and how u ninja shots of these people. Did any of them noticed u?

usually they dont some but some do.:bsmilie:
like what dannysantos said " dont make eye contacts"
and they wont think that you are photographing them.
i must say they are many times i feel rather fearful when
i point the camera at them  just keep cool lor:sweatsm:

i must say that i've learned a lot (and still learning) from danny's website
and his interview on how he did the shots.
thanks danny, if you are reading this!:)
