Hi all,

I was wondering what are the major perferences of a camera viewfinder.

some cameras have viewfinder on left, some at the center.

Actually which would most prefer? Those that are on the left or center ones???

For me, i prefer camera that have viewfinder on the center as its easily to handle overall.

What do u guys think???

frankly what i feel matters most is not where it is but how big it is!

Actually, the relative position of the VF has a lot to do with the internal construction of the Camera.

But position wise, having the VF biased towards the Left of the Camera Body is more comfortable as you have more "free space" for your nose when you press up against it.

Case in point - try the OLY E300 with it's VF way on the left of the Body.

Hold it up to you right-eye and your nose comfortably rests against the side rather then being pressed up against the LCD...

i thought most cameras is like 1/3 from the left? nose touch the edge of the body

yah lor. magnification, percentage view, brightness...

with most dslr having crop sensor, the viewfinders all got smaller

I prefer VF on the right side, cos I use my left eye :)
