Airport Xray scanners effects on film

Went to hong kong two weeks ago from KL. Requested hand check at the security check point, no problem in KLIA or Hong Kong International Airport.. where they did a swab test in HK. Just want to be safe than sorry.......

Gone to malaysia few days ago and saw that our custom has a film safe tagged on our scanner. Wonder how safe it is.

I shot a roll of 200 or 400 on the flyer before, didn't have any fogging issues...

Just came back from Shanghai, got my film x-rayed about 4-5 times (even on shanghai's MRT some places ask you to x-ray)... no issues

Remembered having a twin leaded container to store before the machine but now airport would not allow leaded container to go thru.......

Even the film do go through the x-ray. It is still very safe...
