How about this photo? Sitting down and watching planes touch down. Hope its part of still life cause some ladies in the pic are sitting still watching planes. :bsmilie:

why not. if i'm not wrong, you can even go and have a wedding or even
models shoots at airports. so long as you don't disturb any activities or
work purposes.

From my past experience, ( not sure whether they have change any security ruling ), outside at the depature/arrival hall general photography is permitted. ( at their discretion ) I doubt wedding is allowed.

Once behind the gate, or the holding area of the departure hall, then a written permit is certainly required from the airport authority and also has to pay for the service of airport police to escort along. As the permit clearly state which specific area are allowed to be photographed, not anywhere as you like. First, must report to the airport police post, to get equipment screened, exchange of access pass, and when applying,( one week ahead) must filled a form of all the particulars of personnel involved and brief description of equipments intended to bring in. Permit is only good for the date and time approved.

The police officer is actually there to make sure you do not trepass/abuse the permit, not so much as to protect you. Also when there is any senior officer passes by and ask, why are these people here, he will answer on your behalf. Sorry for OFF TOPIC.

U r all wrong...where u get ur infor from? wedding are allowed....they even organised a wedding photography session during the opening of t3...

IF onli u were a reporter or journalist that is going to write for the airport, u will need escort..everyone is taking pictures in the transit area seriousli...just dont take pics of the security area...like the custom etc...

just think it through, everyone is holding a camera when going overseas....if everyone need an escort, how many officers they need? and what for to design so many nice areas and gardens if its not meant for photo taking?

sorry for OT
