Airplane shooting

hello, need help from the pros here,
what lens are usually use when doing plane shooting,
i only knw that the good location is at pasir ris there, true aye?
and is the 75-300mm good for plane shooting?

You can check out these 2 threads on plane spotting. It is quite informative and the TS also gives you the good spots to get a nice view of the aeroplane.

civil? military around seletar there right?

if pasir ris, most prob military.at the far end of pasir ris.

not for civil though
