So does this mean that those who agree with him are objective and those that disagree with him are being 'not so objective'?

I've noticed many a post like this (not just in this forum). Really interesting. So it's either you agree with the TS, or you're plain wrong.

Firstly, his first post is already not objective. So nothing to be objective about. However, he appears to be looking for some backing, you know.. moral support. We all need that (and not criticism about how bad our photos are all the time - otherwise just become another deadpoet). How he did it was wrong though, posting up people's phone numbers. I may post something similar but without the phone number (actually one of the lessons I learnt in CS is to accept people flying aeroplane so no point being angry with it; there is always another seller, there is always another buyer).

Incidentally Dead Poet's Society is one of my favourite movies. And the character played by Robin Williams was very supportive, never really critical yet coaching. I dunno why I suddenly brought that up. It's so weird. :think:

::edit:: btw I went back into the post and read his second last posting. He did agree that it was not nice to post somebody's HP. So it may not be that he thinks every post that disagrees with him = not objective. I can't really say coz I'm not him and I don't know which posts he thinks is not objective. Maybe he is just generalizing?

i don't agree with a lot of what deadpoet does.

but to be fair, he is entitled to an opinion that is as simple as "this photograph is bad".

of course, constructive criticism is better than plain old criticism, but plain old criticism is better than nothing at all, or worse still, sugar-coated niceities.

if i had absolute control over the internet, i would end:
