This is a message to all, who enjoy taking pictures in black-and-white: sports and movement are the topics of the International AGFA MULTICONTRAST B/W Photo Competition 2004 which runs till May, 28. Get ready and visit http://www.agfa.com/photo/multicontrast-competition/.

wrong forum, should be under something like "exhibitions/events" instead.

nonetheless, thanks for the info..


but they're accepting REAL black and white prints.. the traditional method.. so unless you do that no point submitting for this competition.

You can always send it to someone to print it for you using traditional method :)

lol nothing beats doing it yourself

you're the photographer and you control the burning and dodging... that's where you know yourself what you want to show and what you don't want to show.. the same negative printed by two different people with two different ideas will never be the same photograph...

You forgot to add. Two prints from the same negative printed by the same person can never be identical either :D
