haven't try out the moon cos the moon set very early...even b4 i reached home

taken at 4am in the morning...i think i was too sleepy to focus the object properly :p

viewing thru the eyepiece is definitely much sharper

Not really. Jupiter is oval in shape and not spherical as in most planets. So it kind of gave an effect of vignetting. Furthermore the north and south pole has very thick bands and due to the soft focus, it just further enchance the vignetting look.

The pictures are posted in 2002. Moreover the hosting site is no longer valid ;)
