Forgot to add that M$ has a beta version of its "own" antispyware blocker on its site. Can download it free. I haven't tested it yet but I assume it should be good cause they bought over Giant.

using it isn't illegal but depends on the content you get from it.

Update.

I have tested the M$ antispyware and it is exactly the same as Giant(the co. they bought over) except that now its M$ instead of Giant. Its pretty good, better than spybot(it can detect the pesky marketscore files). User-friendly too.

if you want to play with peer to peer you need.

a) bitcomet (bittorrent client)
b) kazaalite (no idea what its called, I used to use but too much hassle)
c) peer guardian (stops people like mpaa and riaa snooping your pc)
d) spybot defender search & destroy (anti spyware)
e) ad aware ( I don't use it myself though)
f) firewall (zonealarm will do)
g) antivirus (norton or mcafee)
h) NAT firewall (helps quite a bit), its hardware based, if you're using a router of any sort, you most likely have it.
