I like the story you are trying to tell.With the help of the titles, the story is quite well portrayed, IMO.

Tho it would be nice if the exit sign could be seen in the second shot.

Oh the exit sign was removed on purpose, wanted to bring across the message of drunkness which leads to no exit. Thanks for the comments!
