what is the items to looking out for in a wedding shoot ( actual day and dinner )
i am using a nikon d100 with 28-80mm 3.5~5.6 and 17-55mm f2.8 with sb 80dx with bounce card ? is it enough
what mode should i use constanly ? which is safe setting ?

more then enough....there is not safe setting...its what u like the photo to turn out to be...

if you have the 17-55mm f2.8, why you still need 28-80mm 3.5~5.6??

anyway, the fundamentals of shooting weddings as follow:

#1, proficiency of basic photography.
#2, understanding the rituals of wedding event.
#3, using the right equipments.

some say also need the ability to communicate with everyone, I would say this is depend on the personality of the photographer.

hope you get the priority right.

what abt the mode that i should use to be in the safe side ? aperture , manual or shuttle ?

use the one u r most comfortable wif..but my personal liking would be aperture priority for shooting without flash..and manual for shooting with flash..

As the guys have said, stick to the 17-55...

The SD-80dx is Dttl capable and would still be a good match for the D100.

Which mode are you comfortable with for portraits? Use that mode.
