Advisable to update to Vista SP1?

My automatic update has offer the Vista SP1 update for installation. I wonder if it is smart to do so because I heard of many disgruntled users about problems encountered after updating to SP1. It that true? Any pro here has any advice? Thank you

Not sure what the other experiences of users are; but I've got three computers using Vista, and none of them gave me issues with SP1.

ditto. no probs with lappie and desktop.

I have no problem after updating so far.
