Agreed. I am glad to see this implemented.

I for one will not want to carry on living on life support and expensive surgery if it's going to burden my family.
Death is the better option to me.

If you are not able to function with your body anymore i can agree but if you still have the ability to think with your brain or see with your eyes it is still something to cherish.

Depends on whether or not your family can afford to keep you alive.
What's the point if you can think and see but your whole family bleeding thru the nose to keep you alive but a vegetable?

Doctors don't like it. You know why. Think of $24 million medical bill case. Another particular doctor owns 3 Rolls Royces.

Should go further. If quality of life is low and one is very aged, can volunteer for lethal injection after signing a form, in presence of lawyer.
