Adobe Lightroom

I'm looking for some infomration on Adobe Lightroom, I did a quick search here but didn't seem any threads, but if I've missed any thread discussions on AL please can someone direct me there. thankew

Anyway I have just downloaded Adobe Lightroom and it looks like one helluva cool software, with photo organising and editing functions, it's currently in Beta stage, but has anyone used it and how do you guys find it?

it also says the AL software 'will expire', i'm wondering if that means the Lightroom software will have to be payable, any idea?

Probably so new that nobody's had a chance to play around with it yet.

I'll probably try it out and then get a copy of the full version from my buddy over at Adobe.

yes it is a commercial software, eventually you will have to "buy" a license to use it.

yup...you would have to pay eventually .... i read somewhere that mentioned that the beta is provided free so that photographers can give input to changes to the software and sound out the bugs before the actual product is released.....

thanks, i've tried it abit and it's a pretty heavy software for my ibook.
