hi csers, what kind of procedure does the JFK custom check our bag? btw it is safe to go through x-ray scan without taking out the lappy and my camera? or do i need to take out?

Hi There,

Checking of carry on items and the need to take out laptop out of thier carrying case is mandatory. As far as my persoanal experience, camera and lens are fine to be left in its bag. Just take note of the new battery ruling...

no more then 2 lose pieces of lithium batteries on board flights to and from US.

the two pieces should be packed in their original package or in plastic bag.
