About to buy first digital camera

Help! I need advice. I am about to buy my first digital camera. I have narrowed it down to 3, can you help me choose?

Canon G3
Olympus C750
Sony CyberShot DSC-V1

It seems all around the Canon gets the best reviews, but the Olympus has 10x optical zoom. All are 4.0 megapixels, the othr 2 have 4.0 optical zoom.

Depends on what you are looking for, among the 3 Sony CyberShot DSC-V1 has the best image quality. What G3 has some CA problems. etc etc...
