hmm..... just wanna know which model falls into the $200-$300 region?

Prefer to have some zoom.

You might want to take a look at the promotion page for a rough guide of the RRP of these cameras.

hmm.... mju-II seems to be over-budget.

Anyone got other recommendations that falls into $200-$300 region?

A regular mju II without zoom lens should fall just nice into that range if you buy from camera shops instead of Harvey Norman et al.

hmm..... what's the difference between mju-II series and superzoom series?

Hmmm, the mjuII models on that page are incomplete. It would be best if you make a trip to Cathay Photo and check out their prices. Or search for all the mju-II model names, and have CP give you an equote. From what I remember, I was offered a mjuII with some form of zoom for a little less than 300$... definitely within your range.

MEW

mju series are small and mostly weather proof, ie dust and minor rain...

superzoom is the mju minus the above... just normal brick with zoom...

hey rev u like WTB a lot of diff stuff leh... what r u getting huh? curious...

a friend has the superzoom 115 and it seems pretty decent..
anyway, I think the mju series are touted for their sleek, stylish design as well as the "all-weather" feature.... well, I have brought mine (the fixed lens one) to denmark/sweden at 0 degrees and it worked fine. have brought it to thailand at abt 39 degrees (in my army No.4 pocket) and it worked fine ... :)

hehe...... no lah, I didn't even think of printing A4.

hmm..... 2mp can print up to how many R? ( decent quality photo )

5R or A5 (bigger)
at 4R it's sharp.. the bottleneck will be if u too cheapo apply too big JPG compression.. else the quality is awesome enough...
of cos print on photopaper PLEASE... can get the HR101 photo paper form canon. it's cheaper cos it's not thick like photo paper... and u can use it when u put the prints inside xparent folders
