After going thru several articles and googling on color space,
i'm have make some simple conclusion or reasoning.
Appreciate if the expert here can point up if i'm making sense:
1. If you shoot with camera set to sRGB, there isn't much point in working the pix using PS/Adobe98 color space since any color outside the sRGB gamut range will be clipped by the sRGB profile.
2. If you shoot with camera set to Adobe98, and you do not have a compatible (color-managed) software viewer, you can load the pix into PS using Adobe98 as working space, then convert the pix to sRGB jpeg, this way your pix will turn out as expected on the non-compatible viewer.
3. In PS, assign & converting color space is different,
If you assign Adobe98 color space to a pix shoot originally in sRGB, this pix will look more saturated when view under a color managed viewer.
If you assign sRGB color space to a pix shoot originally in Adobe98, this pix will look less saturated when view under any software viewer.
