Hi, what do you mean by flickering? Do you mean the screen goes on and off?
For my A80, a vertical line will appear on the LCD screen when shooting in bright lights. It used to scare me, because the vertical line makes the image looks so errie! But it seems that this line is normal.

err, it's sorta like a jumpy screen.
haven't notice tat vertical line though.

It should only auto adjust the lighting/brightness on the LCD. You shouldn't see any flickering or jumpy screen
