hmmz..wow.. can i ask u sth? haha..is the overexposed teapot purposely like that? or cause u pointed ur flash downwards. ;p interesting shot though. understand the idea. maybe u can get a flash diffuser? and crop the image slightly? (juz an idea:think: ) like the hazy soft effect though =)

I bounced the flash up to give it a proper exposure.

The intentional overexposed part is used in PS to attract viewer's eyes on the tea set.
Wonder if it works..

too over for the part u intended to catch the viewer's attention with. the "U" shape of the paper back behind is distracting.

Do i see the orton effect being used here?

The over-exposed part is too glaring, takes away too much attention from the rest of the pic.
