How well these works with Riva SB-3000 in optical?
K100D + FA 35-70mm - ISO200, f8, 1/160s. Triggered optical by a Emoblitz DS328AZ (Those Lexus slave flash works only up to 1/80s when mount)

Look in DFS or DS photo sections. Look for posts by zeek10d u'll see all the photos done using this DIY studio, except I use 2 strobes most of the time.

did you use 40'' Umbrella's in the setup? :)

Hi
I noticed the indoor shots are all very well lit but my home has difficult lighting and backgrounds. Would such a product help?

Do you need an additional external light to illuminate the item being photographed from outside the light tent ? Why are they so expensive? The 150cm cost $150!

Thanks :)

Unless it's in rooms, my home indoor shots also hard to get bright background (13+ feet ceiling). Light tent u'll still need at least 2 flash by the side. Suggest u try the setup I gave. Think can be done below $100;)

You don't need two flashes when using light tent, just two white lights will do. A small tent plus two lights can be had for around $60SGD from OP :) But of course this solution is only good for small product shots. For photos like dogs/cats, better use flash so you'd have enough speed to fix the shots.

The light tent airconvent stated is a 1.5m x 1.5m x 1.5m tent. To get even light u need strong enough light. Normally for tent this big, ppl tend to use at least 35 watts energy saving light (= abt 150watts may not be enough) or 3x35watts lights.

Yeah you are right. Haven't thought about that size ... I only have a small 40x40x40cm one, and two small tiny lights :D
