I met this little boy at Tibet and he only asked to be photographed.
I find him very special from the rest,he didn’t begged for
any money even after the shoot.
I did a quick snap at his anticipation stare...with a heavy
thermos flask behind him that caused him to hunch a little.

Aww... His nose!

Nice catch Hosea.

 very touching scene...his eyes shows everything...coldness, tired..

u have a closeup of his face?:)

what's on his nose? sorry, my notebook screen not very good, thus, cannot see clearly. hee :embrass:

Thanks Student,ransoma22, hyperfocal ,Ckw,ndroo , MathewSCL,Paul Yeo and Max 2.8
for viewing and comments.

MathewSCL, I was standing very close to him when requested to take a photo for him.
Paul, that is mucus from his nose. As this place has cold dry air.. running nose is quite
common among them. They dont readily have tissue paper to wipe it away.

This is really one of those images that goes straight into one's soul and make havoc with the inner workings of the human spirit.

his hand looks wierd... is it the light? looks light its frosted....

His eyes seem to express a yearn for something in his life .
When I look at his eyes... I tend to stare for a moment.I really wish him well.
Thanks for sharing your thot.

the expression is so... dunno how to explain, but something like wht student said.

Hi w.s,
He communicated with me with “Hello, Hello" and some hands gesture.
His brother and grandma also helped him.

I passed by him when entering into the temple but ignore his “Hello "as
I thought he was just like other kids that wanted some money.:embrass:

I met him again while on my way out of the temple and that was the time
when I stop to understand what he wanted to tell me.

hi hosea,

tht's very nice of you:) the photo + the whole process of taking the photo is just wonderful. i like it alot, thanx for sharing:)

Excellent shot! It's very interesting that he asked to be photographed but has an aware, yet intimidated or withdrawn emotion from his face. Rather than a typical smile and a pose which is typical of children who are aware of being photographed, this child decided to show a very real side of him. His eyes have a very interesting glint, and his shadow shows the harsh sunbeam shining against himself. I really like the perspective in this photo too!
