Hi I'm new to photography and just went on my first shooting trip. Here are some of my shots. Please comment on what I did wrong and how I can make it better. Thanks!

Is there a way to reduce/remove the rainbow effect on the bottom left for the 5th picture? I had something similar for a shot I did in Chinese Garden today.

I'm guessing thats filter flare? Try shooting without your filters attached.

that is called lens flare, to avoid it don't let the light get into the lens or use a lens hood. Nothing much to do with the filter.

To imporve you must think about the composition b4 you shoot and give your image a title and/or caption.
