Hi,
I would like to find out what normally you guys use for your settings of your jpegs to be uploaded in your online photo gallery?

Using Photoshop for example:

1. What is the images size
2. What is the DPI settings
3. Jpeg (low, medium, high, very high, maximum)
4. Bicubic, bilinear, bicubic smoother etc etc..

Or to put it simply, how do you save your pictures that will be posted on the web.

Thank and advance.

1. 640 x 480
2. DPI only of concern for printing, so don't care what it is.
3. JPEQ quality 7
4. Regarding resizing image, bicubic.

I've automated all of it with actions, so saving for web is a breeze.

Thanks Royce, I will still figure out where to find the JPEG quality 7 as I only can see low, medium, high, very high, maximum as the settings...

By the way, would you mind to attached the PS actions here?

set the highest quality whatever settings that can be set

Save it as TIFF files UNLESS you are sending for print, Highest quality jpeg files i.e least compression will not make much difference for web viewing, only to take up more space.

You have to take note of your limited web space and the time your picture loads.... the faster it loads without compromising the quality of the image for viewing should be the aim here. ;)
