Hi pros...

Yes, I'm a newbie..
Just bought Canon Powershot S5 IS.

Here are a few questions I need you guys to help me out.

1) To get a dry box or dry cap?

2) What tele and micro lenses should I get?
(I'm not sure if I can only can canon's or can I get other brands..)

3) Is lens Adapter/Hood important?

1) To get a dry box or dry cap?

If you do not want your camera lens to infect with fungus, better invest a dry cabinet.

2) What tele and micro lenses should I get?

None. Recommend to try the camera first until you cannot achieve the effect, then you start to look for the add-on lenses.

3) Is lens Adapter/Hood important?

Adapter is mainly for the add-on lens.

Hood is mainly used for blocking sunlight to cause flare effect.
