Saw this 512 Mb A-DATA SD card at the IT show claiming a speed of 150X, but selling at only $37. Seems unbelievably cheap for such a "high-speed" card.

Anyone used SD cards from A-DATA? Are they reliable and good?

Well, you have to see what's their definition of 150x... if 1x = 1Kb/s, then 150x = 150 Kb/s.
Think it's just a marketing gimmick, even the pro cards might have trouble attaining their advertised speed of 133x.

This A-Data SD card reads at 23mb/s (150x) but writes at 16.2mb/s (108x).

Thanks guys! Anyone knows the reliability of their products? Not sure if the card will die on me after a few months...hee ;p

Been using the 150x one for a few months already, no problem at all...

Where is this A-Data from? Let's see if the cards still work after a year :p
