the 80-200 really looks tempting especially if can get it the starting price...

All also very tempting if can get at the starting price.. :p

Interesting.........

+1 to the same thought...
however now that this thread will force more eyeballs to the auctions, I don't expect the final price to remain low. If I hadn't just got the DA*300 f/4, that 300mm f/2.8 looks awfully tempting.

The 180 macro is so tempting...

There are some more not-so-interesting but rare gems here:

Minty, Rare, and Superfast SMC Pentax-A* 1:1.8 135mm Lens | eBay
SMC Pentax-A* 85mm 1:1.4 ULTRA RARE !! | eBay
Pentax SMC FA 400mm F/5.6 Lens | eBay

And this one would never sell unless some guy got too much money to burn:
Voigtlander SL 125 mm F/2.5 Macro Lens Pentax K mount PK SUPER SHARP! | eBay

And you'd be a fool if you buy this one at the asking price:
SMC PENTAX-DA 50mmF1.8

A*135/1.8 is certainly the best 135mm made by Pentax. Too bad about the small defect on the front element on this copy.

Ha..ha... maybe that DA50/1.8 is black gold plated. :D

hasn't that copy been online for ages?

its called the "asking price" for a reason :bsmilie: pple can always ask... whether anybody is willing to meet it is a totally different matter.

And I wonder who the seller for the Voigtlander might be since the location is stated: Singapore..

But goat damn it~ That A*135... Second last item in my A series.... *bangs wall*

This copy seems to have slight signs of element separation. One of the pics show a ring ard the edges, inside... :( So sad..

In my watch list now........

If u get it can u let me molest it in future Pentax outings?:p

There's another pentaxian who has a copy :)

wah!! who is it? i'm using the 105mm, and honestly while it is a fantastic lens, i desire a longer reach sometimes, and i hope the working distance w raynox is better too! but i guess i can only get it after i start working for a while:cry:

i thot once u use raynox, u're limited by the working dist of the raynox itself?

105mm, abt 30cm working dist is good enuff... longer working distance is a hindrance sometimes - u get blocked by twigs and other stuff. i find it harder to compose. end up using tubes to reduce the working distance - happy problem that i get larger than 1:1 as a result.

anyway, we digress. as felix said, the person's nick starts with P :)
