"What are the things that truly remain once the celebration is over?"

Such was my thought as I strolled through CHIJMES on Boxing Day back in 2005. The place was quiet and almost deserted...I couldn't help but feel a little sad as I went along, even though the signs of a party were still present in some areas.

Any thoughts or comments most welcome. :)

Thank you for your comment. :) It's great that the blurred effect helped to make this photo more attractive to you. Some felt that the blur actually worked against the photo rather than helped it. It's good to hear it from both sides.

I'd agree that the bench in the foreground is somewhat distracting, and it was a little messy in the area at that time, though clean. I tried to zoom in to crop out some of the clutter without omitting the top of of the ceiling.

it's a little blurry but I like the concept. :)

Thank you. :) Glad that you liked it! This piece still makes me a little solemn when I look at it.
