It is half as bright but the beam is wider and the color temp 5700K is closer to daylight than the bluish 6400K of the Lume Cube.
However the CRI is only 70

The Nitecore camping lantern is better as a panel replacement. More diffused out of the box, higher CRI and comes with a loop to hang a few on a clothes line just above the talent's face.
