exposure: 1/400
aperture: f/6.0 (if i recall correctly)
I was walking to the mrt when I saw a Taoist prayer session gg on in a nearby tent.
I shot this with a compact camera.
1. In what area is critique to be sought?
Composition.
2. What one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
that such ceremonies are still taken seriously by believers.
3. Under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
Under a makeshift tent, it was sunny outside. I didnt go up close because I didnt want the devotees to think i was interrupting the prayer session, so i relied on my zoom. i initially wanted to take a shot of the whole stage where the monks are on, with the devotees in the foreground but due to physical constraints i couldnt.
4. What the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
i felt the yellow was kind of over-powering the whole picture. it captured some essence of the moment but it's not great, hoping to get any constructive feedback for improvement. thanks!
