$700 Cam?

wat digital cam can i get for under $700???

I would prefer one with some manual control and have long shutter timings to take nite shots.

1. Canon A40 $500++
2. Nikon CP2500 $500++

ANd try the 2nd hand market...

Don't think the Nikon CP2500 can take nite shots.

Other models you can consider is Canon Ixus 330, Olypmus C2040 and Casio 2900.

yeah, the 2040! Its not perfect. got minor blemishes and some noise for long exposures but i love the way it handles and the flexibility. Great learning tool.....

Well, i've would say the Canon A40 would be good if you want some manual control...

the Olympus C2040 would be a good choice too, except for the fact that it's not available. You can try AP though....
