yes i did. I'm using the Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 2x TC and it works beautifully. VR works but AF did slow down a little but still fast enough. My TC is grey in colour so is my 70-200 AF-S VR lense. Cheers

The Kenko 1.4x also work without problem except that it does not report the aperture correctly.

my TC is TELEPLUS MC7 2X and there also printed N-AFD.

now cant focus correctly. anyone with the same TC brand with me ? and his TC works ?

if i m not wrong, MC7 only works with non-AFS lenses. for AFS lens, u need the kenko teleplus pro 300.

Nightpiper is correct. You need the Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 series which states N AF-S on the convertor. The MC-7 is the consumer series. Only Nikon's own TCs will allow the camera to display the correct effective aperture.

disagree
the kenko shows the correct effective aperture too

Really? Which series TC with which lens and which body? I have a Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 2X and uses them with a AF-D 105/2.8 Micro-Nikkor and AF 180/2.8 coupled to a F100 and F75, and it does not report the effective aperture...... :dunno:

i'm not sure abt F100, F75
but im sure it reports the correct effective apertures on the digital bodies eg d70, d100
