Some folks asked for some test shots. I shot wide at 7mm, to see how this lens will perform at its extreme.

This was on the first day of CNY, after the visit to my late father-in-law at the Lawn Cemetry. Since Chinese Garden was near by, I decided to take a detour to snap a few photos.

Thanks Hacker, nothing conclusive but truly a difficult lens to use.

BTW, what are you trying to conclude? Care to share?

Im not too sure technically, heard its a specialised lens. The perspective distortion may be too dynamic to control thats why most samples onli shows scenary, rocks and such. Will try to find more info. 1st. before saying more. Hehe. Thanks

Sorry to request this, but I am thinking of buying this lens for interior shoots. I visit a lot of recording studios and would like to shoot pictures to keep as reference (we supply the equipment), but looking at this post, it seems its not that easy to control this beast... would you recommend the 11-22 instead? Though I am afraid that the 11mm would not be wide enough...

Anyone knows what is the angle of coverage for the 11mm?
